Young Gulch
Young Gulch is located off of Colorado Highway 14 in the Poudre Canyon,
a short
drive from Fort Collins. One of several "gulch" rides in the area, Young gulch
is an out-and-back singletrack ride. The trail is technical in spots, and
contains
_many_ stream crossings. Because the spring runoff can make the stream
crossings deep, the
trail is best ridden in early fall, or during a dry period in winter. There
will most likely be water in the stream year 'round, but you won't need your
mask & snorkel if you ride the trail later in the season...
