Directions:

From Fort Collins, head west on Prospect Avenue to Overland Trail, and turn right. Go north on Overland Trail until you reach a stop light in the town of LaPorte at County Road 54G. Turn left and follow 54G through LaPorte until you see Vern's Place on the right. Turn left here on County Road 52E (aka Rist Canyon road or Tobe Miller Ln) and follow it west all the way up Rist Canyon and down the other side to the Stove Prarie Schoolhouse - park beside the road.
